Mooer GE150 Plus Multi Effects Pedal
In 2019, MOOER released its GE150 multi-effects pedal, which received significant critical acclaim. It offered guitarists a wide range of amp simulations and effects in a compact package. However, due to the high level of innovation in the guitar pedal industry, the company recognized that GE150 users needed more flexibility and control. This ultimately led to MOOER’s release of the new GE150 Plus series. Building upon the original GE150's impressive features, the GE150 Plus provides guitarists with more factory effect presets to meet their needs in any musical scenario. Furthermore, high-precision preamp and cabinet simulation models can be used to perfect the sound. Dedicated management software allows users to import MNRS and their own amp/cab simulations. GE150 users will perhaps most notably notice that the GE150 Plus features three footswitches instead of two. These come with improved switching logic for enhanced flexibility. In addition to its three footswitches, intuitive UI, and high-quality 2.8" LCD screen, the GE150 Plus also includes an expression pedal, a staple within the GE series. This pedal can be mapped to effect parameters for dynamic live control and also features a "toe tap" feature to switch the mapping from "Expression" to "Volume" control mode. The GE150 Plus features an 80-second stereo looper, 40 drum machine patterns, and 10 metronome modes. These rhythmic and looping features can all be controlled with the foot switches, ensuring seamless integration of loop improvisations and backing tracks into live performances and practice sessions. This MOOER GE Series pedal wouldn't be complete without its USB-C output, allowing for real-time OTG recordings. The same USB port can also be used to connect the device to a computer, allowing the user to manage tone and effect presets, load third-party cab simulations, and update the GE150 Plus with the latest firmware update. The GE150 Plus is available in two editions: the standard mains-powered option and the GE150 Plus Li, which is equipped with an integrated Lithium battery for up to 9 hours of cable-free operation.
