The Soundcraft Notepad 124FX mixer provides Soundcraft audio performance with the Soundcraft's GB30 mic preamp and 3-band EQ technology, switchable +dBV on stereo inputs, and +48V phantom power for powering condenser microphones in a compact and solid chassis.
The +dBV switch changes the input sensitivity of the stereo input. Most consumer audio equipment such as CD players has a lower level output of -10 dBv so this switch setting should be used. For professional equipment which has higher level outputs, the +4 dBu input setting should be used.
The Soundcraft Notepad 124FX compact mixer features a built-in digital effects processor which has a feed from every input and over 100 effects (reverbs, delays, chorus, flanger, phaser and tremolo modulation effects), including pink noise plus low, mid and high freqency test tones for system setup. The FX control can also be used to set delay tap tempo, a feature not found in other compact mixers. The Soundcraft Notepad 124FX also provides a recording output of the mix on RCA / Phono connectors as well as a stereo input for CD playback etc.
