The GRGR221FA features with an art grain simulated flamed maple (on basswood) top on an okoume body bolted to a rosted maple neck with a reversed headstock with a matching art grain overlay and a 24-fret purpleheart fingerboard with black binding and reversed black sharktooth position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez IBZ-6 humbucking pickups with black plastic covers mounted in black plastic rings, an F106 fixed bridge, a black plastic nut, a mono-unit output jack with integrated mouting plate, and die-cast tuning machines. The hardware is black.
