Booster Section – Shape, Drive, and Refine Your Signal
The Masamune Booster enhances and strengthens your dry guitar signal before it reaches your amp or effects chain.
It includes:
Boost Level – controls the amount of clean boost
Drive – adds grit, harmonics, and tonal color
Hi-Cut switch – removes excessive high frequencies when needed
This section provides everything from transparent boost to warm, musical saturation.
Compressor Section – Sustain, Balance, and Tone Control
The Kompressor in Masamune powerfully shapes your dynamics while preserving the natural feel of your playing.
It features:
Komp Level – output level for the compressor
Sustain – controls compression ratio and adds long, rich sustain
Blend – mixes dry and compressed signals (50–100% transparency)
Clip switch – selects clipping range for tighter or more open compression
The compressor delivers everything from subtle dynamic smoothing to deeply saturated sustain perfect for leads, clean tones, and rhythmic clarity.
External Footswitch Ready
Masamune includes an external footswitch input, allowing you to control the pedal remotely — ideal for more advanced pedalboard setups or live performance flexibility.
