Tradition in look and sound.
The TRADICION series combines all the typical characteristics of classical guitar making. And this starts with the choice of materials: the top is made of solid cedar, the back and sides are made of mahogany. Its traditional appearance is pleasantly emphasized by an ecological water-based matte varnish .
Instruments made by hand in Europe are moderately tuned and designed for a balanced sound , particularly due to the construction of the neck with traditional dovetail connection which guarantees, in addition to great stability, very good transmission of vibrations.
A special feature of Manuel Rodríguez's 4/4 guitars is the GEWA armrest , which offers two major advantages: it ensures a particularly pleasant playing feel due to its rounded shape and allows the soundboard to vibrate freely over its entire surface, preventing the right arm resting on it from damping the vibration.
The Hannabach 815HTC strings , made in Germany, are fitted directly in the workshop and perfectly complement the sound of the instruments in the series.
Manuel Rodríguez TRADICION series instruments are available in all five standard sizes, down to the small 1/4 guitar.
