All models are equipped with a Spanish heel , the finest in guitar making, which allows the neck to join the body of the instrument in one piece, thus connecting it to the sides, back and top. SUPERIOR instruments are all handcrafted in Europe and feature features that are rare in this moderate price category : the mahogany neck reinforced with an ebony inlay ensures great stability, the nut and bridge insert are hand-filed from oiled vintage bone, as is the eco-friendly water-based high-gloss varnish.
The innovative design of the Moreno 12-hole bridge allows the strings to always exert equal pressure on the bridge. Unlike the standard 6-hole bridge, the strings are easier, faster, and more securely mounted, thus significantly reducing the risk of them slipping and damaging the top.
In addition, Manuel Rodríguez's 4/4 guitars are all equipped with a GEWA armrest with two major advantages: its rounded shape ensures a particularly pleasant playing feel and it allows the soundboard to vibrate freely over its entire surface, preventing the right arm resting on it from damping the vibrations.
